About

Hello and welcome to this blog about education, learning, and society. I am a sociologist who uses historical and ethnographic research methods to ascertain how histories of coloniality are manifest and sometimes interrupted in contemporary societal institutions. I use this space to think out loud and publicly about several components of colonization and education and to provide access to scholarly analysis that doesn’t reside behind paywalls.
